The Company will work to handle and protect personal information in an appropriate manner in adherence to the following policy.

1. Adherence to Legal Regulations, Etc.

In regards to the handling of Personal Information in its possession, the Company will adhere to laws pertaining to the protection of Personal Information, other laws and the Company’s Privacy Policy. The Company will use, manage and protect Personal Information in an appropriate manner.

2. Acquisition of Private Information

When acquiring Personal Information, the Company will make clear the usage purpose and acquisition method beforehand. Furthermore, the Company will acquire Personal Information using equitable means.

3. Usage Purposes of Private Information

The Company will in the course of executing its work collect and use the following personal information within the scope necessary.
(1) Private Information related to Medical Personnel including Doctors, Pharmacists and Nurses
 For the provision and collection information related to the correct use of the Company’s products.
 For the provision and collection information related to the quality, safety and effectiveness of the Company’s products.
 To request and implement clinical trials, post-market examinations, etc. of the Company’s products.
 To examine and understand usage conditions, needs and actualities of the Company’s products.
 For the provision and collection medical and academic information.
 For notifications, reporting and submissions to government offices.
 To respond to inquiries and implement other related work.

(2) Personal Information related to Persons making Inquiries
 To investigate, examine, and respond to the contents of the inquiry received.
 To contact and make provisions to the manufacturers, sellers and medical personnel involved with the Company’s products.
 For notifications, reporting and submissions to government offices.

(3) Personal Information related to Job Applicants
 To make hiring considerations and decisions.
 To provide information on the Company and to respond to inquiries.

(4) Personal Information related to Persons Associated with Transaction Partners, Affiliated Industry Groups. Etc.
 For various contacts, negotiations, petitions or reports for the purpose of implementing transaction or affiliated organization activities.

4. Usage of Personal Information

The Company will use acquired personal information in a manner that does not deviate from the usage purposes.

5. Provision to Third Parties

The Company will not provide personal data to third parties without the prior content of the person in question.

6. Management of Personal Information

The Company will within the scope necessary to achieve its usage goals manage Personal Information in a manner that is both appropriate and maintains up-to-date information. Additionally, the Company will take necessary and appropriate measures to prevent the loss or damage of Personal Information, and for other safety management.

7. Supervision of Employees and Subcontractors

The Company will plan for the safe management of personal management when personal information is handled by employees. In the event the Company subcontracts the handling of Personal Information, the Company will conduct necessary and appropriate supervision of the subcontractor with the aim of conducting safe management of the relevant Personal Information.

8. Release, Revision, Usage Cessation, Etc. of Personal Information

In the event that the Company receives a request from an individual regarding the release, revision, usage cessation, etc. of his/her individual data in the possession of the Company, the Company will quickly respond to that request upon verification of the individual’s identity.

9. Management System

The Company will appoint a Personal Information Protection Manager, who will control Personal Information acquisition, storage, management, and other work. In order to protect Personal Information the Company will implement an intra-company system for that purpose, and will additionally formulate a Compliance Plan and an Employee Training and Education Plan. In order to manage the appropriate protection of Personal Information regular audits will be conducted, and alterations and/or improvements will be made as needed.
